About

About ADHD Money Guard

ADHD Money Guard is a small, independent product built around one idea: most money advice assumes an attention span that ADHD doesn't reliably provide. Budgets that need daily upkeep collapse on the first bad week, and the collapse usually brings shame with it.

What we make

The Money Command Center is a web app for planning money with ADHD in mind. It protects the bills you can't miss, turns the rest into a single safe-to-spend number, and shows one clear next step instead of a wall of charts. It works on manual entry — we never ask for your bank login.

Why we write guides

A tool only helps if the idea behind it makes sense. Our guides explain the ideas the app is built on — safe-to-spend, protecting essentials, paycheck planning, impulse brakes — so you can use them with or without our software. Everything is written in plain language, without moralising about coffee.

Who writes this

Guides are written and reviewed by the ADHD Money Guard team, drawing on published research about executive function alongside everyday practice from people who manage money with ADHD. We update articles as the product and our understanding change; each guide shows when it was last updated.

What we are not

We are not financial advisers, accountants or clinicians. Our guides are general information, not personal advice, and nothing here diagnoses or treats ADHD. For decisions with significant consequences, talk to a qualified professional in your country.
